I’m almost finished with this drawing that tells, in an impressionist way, the story of Peter and the Wolf. It’s made with ecoline and it’s a little to big to make a scan of, so here are a few pictures I made with my girlfriends camera.
I’m gonna make my way to the train… just one last drawing for all my fans.

I like this one, it reminds me of summer. (Which is, of course, further away than ever. ) It has this kind of lazy warm erotic tension. Probably has something to do with the poem in the bottom left corner. Sadly, this image file is too small to see the words.

This is a whole new series, which is called stuck at work. Due to today’s light snow, I can’t go home. Luckily, there’s a whole map of old drawings here on my computer at work, which I wanted to upload anyway. This is the first for no particular reason. I think it’s about someone being sucked into the TV, but I’m not really sure. I remember it was made with a technique called monoprint, combined with pieces of toilet paper.

Searching around for the story of Peter and the wolf, which I needed for a painting I’m doing, I came across this superb animation. Beautiful stop-motion: the cat and the wolf caught my eye especially. This is only a trailer by the way, but you can probably find the full version (30 min) somewhere on the internet.
And, digging a little deeper, I found this old soviet animation from the seventies. Clever technique and beautiful vision. The owl is my favourite.

Browsing through the files on my external hard-drive looking for some Bright Eyes records, I stumble upon a whole map stuffed with old drawings. I never knew I’ve drawn this much. The best thing is it contains all the original scans and illustrator files. Like this one:
